Description

Here's my take on a Martian Tripod from H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. I wanted something a little industrial and a fairly odd looking. The main part of the tripod was influenced by an engine block since I figured they would be combustion driven machines.

These machines look partially robotic, partially industrial, and partially organic- and I really love that.  Otherworldly is definitely a word one could use to describe these Martian creations, so I think you did a fantastic job at drawing a "War of the Worlds" scene in your own style.
